Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University senior guard Russell Frederick (Baltimore, MD/ Calvert Hall) topped this week's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honors for PhilaU student-athletes, earning ‘Player of the Week accolades.
Frederick was singled out for the second time this season, after averaging 27.5 points per game (ppg) in last week's two contests. He notched 31 points against Holy Family University and followed with 24 at Dominican College. The finance major is averaging 19.4 ppg on the season.
Women's basketball senior forward Kate Brennan (Stratford, NJ/ Sterling) earned ‘Honorable Mention' after recording a 16 point average on the week as the Lady Rams fell to Holy Family University and beat Dominican College. Brennan also averaged five steals per game, setting a new career-high with seven at DC.
