Powell ran a 19:05.42 time in the 5000 meter race at the Bill Butler Invitational, earning second place and a CACC Qualifying time in the event. She also competed in the 4x800 race, winning with her teammates as they had a 10:12.29 time. That helped Powell make the CACC Honor Roll.
