Fields Needs

  • Game Fields are available on a limited basis and requests should be placed as early as possible each semester.
  • Athletics reserves the right to cancel any and all practices/games due to weather, field conditions or intercollegiate re-scheduling.
  • All field activity requests must be sent and approved by the Coordinator of Facilities, Tyler Gross - Tyler.Gross@jefferson.edu

Indoor Facilities Needs

  • Indoor courts are available on a limited basis and requests should be placed as early as possible each semester.
  • Athletics reserves the right to cancel any and all practices/games due to Athletic Department scheduling changes.
  • All field activity requests must be sent and approved by the Coordinator of Facilities, Tyler Gross - Tyler.Gross@jefferson.edu

Transportation Needs

  • Athletic vans are available on a limited basis and can only be reserved through the Athletic Department.
  • If you are not on the approved drivers list, you must fill out a vehicle reservation form. Follow the instructions found on this link - http://jeffersonrams.com/inside_athletics/vehicle_reservations
  • Faculty, staff, and student drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and be enrolled or employed (work study or staff/faculty) at Jefferson.

Budget Needs

  • There is a minimal University-funded budget that is divided up throughout all current club sports.
  • All budget requests should be made in advance, and be included in the charter.
  • Budget request forms will be sent out via email from the club coordinator, Rob Nelson - Robert.Nelson@jefferson.edu - at the start of each fall semester. The form will require you to provide basic information about your club (needs, mission, roster, etc.) and how much your particular club will be requesting.
  • Forms must be handed in by the assigned date. Any forms received after that will not be approved and the club will not be recognized by Athletics during that particular year.
  • Budgets function on an academic year basis. For example, a date will be set during the spring semester in which all budget money must be used by. If any money is left over, it will NOT carry over to the following year.
  • Details on how the budget money works and how you are allowed to use it will all be explained in the email sent by the club coordinator at the start of each Fall Semester.
  • The minimum turnaround for the Athletic Department to provide a check is 15 business days.

Equipment Needs

  • The Athletic Department will help with purchasing and funding equipment if the funds are available and requested as part of the standard budgeting process.
  • Equipment that is regularly available to all students at the fitness center may also be used by club sports when they have reserved space in the Gallagher Center.
