Steve Starcevich was a four-year stopper for the Philadelphia University Rams men's soccer team during the late 1980s.

As a junior in 1987, Starcevich earned numerous awards including: Soccer Seven MVP, SEPCA first team, regional All-American, Missouri Athletics Club finalist and Herman Award finalist. He led the team in goals with 11 and points with 25.

One year later he was earned All-American status. Starcevich was also named to the Soccer Seven first team and SEPCA first team.

After college Starcevich had NFL tryouts with the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams.
