The Lady Rams were down by six at 10:02 in the first half, but sophomore guard Ashley Gaskins (Harrisburg, PA/ Central Dauphin) highlighted an 8-0 PhilaU run with a jumper at 6:26 to take a 23-21 lead.  AU came right back to regain the lead with a trey at 3:19 remaining and the Panthers took a 31-27 lead into the break.

The Panthers continued to stay ahead in the second period and led by as many as seven points, but a steal and made layup by PhilaU junior guard Nina Brascetta (Philadelphia, PA/ Archbishop Ryan) gave PhilaU a 45-44 lead with 11:02 remaining.

At 5:50 left in the second stanza, AU's Danielle Parks closed the PhilaU lead to just two with a layup to make it 53-51, and solid free-throw shooting down the stretch kept the Panthers within striking distance.  However, PhilaU pulled out the 68-61 non-conference victory.
