The Lady Rams would go into halftime holding a 38-28 lead against the Lady Wildcats, but that would soon vanish after the visitors came out hustling.  The visiting team would chip away until the 10:35 mark a lay-up would give them their first lead at 50-49 and a lay-up by Wilmington senior guard Amelia Simmons (Wilmington, DE/ Concord) would make the lead stretch to three.  Simmons led all scorers with 32 points, 10 rebounds and two steals.

The PhilaU women would find themselves down for the remainder of the half until 3:17 left- when junior forward Ashley Gaskins (Harrisburg, PA/ Central Dauphin) converted on an one and one giving the Lady Rams a 65-64 lead.  Gaskins would finish with three points and eight rebounds.

The game would continue to go back-and-forth until with 25 seconds left as senior center Jessica Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham) would find herself at the free-throw line, the game tied at 68-68.  Romano would miss the first but sink the second one giving the women a one-point lead.  Romano finished the night with a double-double scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wildcats would get a last second opportunity at a lay-up but would fail to convert it- giving the Lady Rams the victory.
