Box Score CALDWELL, N.J. – Junior guard Najah Jacobs (Philadelphia, Pa./Central) scored a game-high 21 points and sophomore forward Alex Heck (Willow Grove, Pa./Archbishop Wood) recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds in Philadelphia University women's basketball's 91-80 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory (CACC) over Caldwell Saturday afternoon in the Newman Center.
Philadelphia—who snapped a three-game losing streak against Caldwell—remains undefeated in CACC play with an 11-0 mark, while improving to 13-5 overall. The Rams are now one win away from tying their school record of 12 consecutive CACC wins.
Caldwell is now 11-8 overall, 9-3 in the conference.

Junior guard Monica Schacker (Doylestown, Pa./Germantown Academy) drained four 3-pointers, on eight attempts, to add 16 points. Sophomore forward Tori Arnao (Newtown, Pa./Archbishop Wood) contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.
Jeanette Anderson was Caldwell's leading scorer with 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Alyssa James posted 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Antoinette Pilla added 17 points and Nicole Angelo netted 11 points.
Both teams shot the ball very well as Caldwell connected on 52.5 percent (31-of-59) of its attempts and Philadelphia hit 52.2 percent (36-of-69) of its shots. The Rams knocked a season-best eight 3-pointers, while the Cougars only hit three.
Caldwell opened the game on a 7-2 run in the opening 2:50. After starting the game shooting 1-for-7, Philadelphia would hit four of its next five shots, including back-to-back treys from senior guard Samantha Morris (Wenonah, N.J./Deptford) and Schacker, to take a 12-10 lead.
Trailing 19-14, Philadelphia would rattle off the game's next 15 points, eight from Heck, over a 4:06 span to charge out to a 29-19 lead. The Rams shot 6-of-11 during the field, while the Cougars were 0-of-4 from the field and turned the ball over three times.
Schacker nailed a 3-pointer, her fourth of the half, with four seconds on the clock to give Philadelphia a 46-33 halftime lead.
After senior guard Megan Finn (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) hit two free throws 2:04 into the second half to give Philadelphia a 16-point lead (53-37), Caldwell scored 12 straight points to make it just a four-point game (53-49) with 14:55 left. The Cougars managed to get as close as 57-54 with 12:39 to play when Jessica Coscia converted a 3-point play.
Philadelphia answered with a 20-4 run to blow the game open and take a game-high 19-point lead (77-58). Arnao and Jacobs led the Rams, who shot a perfect 8-for-8 during the surge, with six points each.
Philadelphia returns to the Gallagher Center to host Wilmington (Del.) in a CACC contest on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m.
