Philadelphia—the fifth-ranked team in the first set of NCAA Division II East Region Rankings—picks up its 20th win of the season as the team improves to 20-6 overall, 16-1 against the CACC. The Rams have put together three straight 20-win seasons since a five-year string of at least 20 wins from 2002-03 through 2006-07.

After the Lions (6-20, 4-14 CACC) trimmed the Rams' advantage to five, Philadelphia bounded back with a 10-4 surge to regain an 11-point lead (30-19) on a Newell jumper at the 5:39 mark of the second quarter.
