LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team scored the first 14 goals of the contest, all in the first half, en route to a 17-3 win at Chestnut Hill on Tuesday. The Rams are 3-0 on the year with a 1-0 CACC record.
GAMEPLAY
Jefferson dominated the field in the opening frame, outshooting the Griffins, 30-1, forcing 20 turnovers, allowing just three successful clears, and controlling the draws by a 9-5 count. Chestnut Hill broke the scoreless drought at the 21:04 mark of the second half and each team scored three times in the period.
