NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University's
Manni Zhang and
Stanislava Norets were selected to the All-CACC Women's Tennis Team, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Thursday.
Zhang was named to the All-CACC First Team while Norets garnered All-CACC Second Team honors.
This season, Zhang went 4-3 in singles play against conference opponents, primarily at the second position. Two of her victories came in straight sets. She came back to win two matches after dropping the first set. In doubles, Zhang went 3-4, splitting time between the first and second positions. Overall, the freshman is 8-3 in singles competition and 5-6 in doubles play on the season.
Norets posted a 3-3 singles record in conference play, all at the number one position. Two of her victories were in straight sets. In doubles, she went 4-2, mainly at the top spot. Overall this season, Norets is 4-5 in singles and 6-3 in doubles.
The Rams went 2-5 in CACC matches and they are the fourth seed in the CACC Tournament.
