NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University had 15 soccer players selected to the CACC All-Academic Team, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Wednesday.
Twelve members of the Rams' women's soccer team received the honor, including
Allie Bone,
Kelsey Butler,
Payton Cole,
Alessandra DiStefano,
Grace Kenville,
Emma Kuciapinski,
Meredith Lapen,
Gabrielle Marra,
Chloe Quinn,
Danielle Samson,
Abby Watson, and
Casey Sheehan. It was the third career award for Lapen and the second for DiStefano, Kuciapinski, Quinn, and Samson.
On the men's side,
Matthew Ligi,
Geoffrey Little, and
Joshua Njoroge all earned the honor for the second time in their careers.
To be eligible for the CACC All-Academic team, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants)
- Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution
- Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution
- Student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
