NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Thomas Jefferson University baseball team placed 12 players on the CACC All-Academic Team, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Thursday.
Vince Barone,
Jimmy Cummings,
Dante DiSilvestro,
Gunnar Hayes,
Bryce Herman,
Sean Jeffries,
Richard Joa,
Cole Kriger,
Daniel Sabath,
Ryan Sawyer,
Anthony Schiavone, and
Jem Sisco all earned the honor. It was the third career award for Hayes, Jeffries, Sabath, and Schiavone and the second for Herman and Kriger.
To be eligible for the CACC All-Academic team, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants)
- Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution
- Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution
- Student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
