Softball Has 12 Student-Athletes Earn CACC All-Academic Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University claimed 12 spots on the CACC Softball All-Academic Team, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Thursday.
 
Representing the Rams were Emily Akelaitis, Sam Gomez, Julia Heine, Madison Heno, Winnai Hoyt, Samantha Hurtado, Alexa Kanceler, Ali Murphy, Anastasia Reale, Katelyn Stys, Dallas Urban, and Kayla Warren.
 
Stys is a four-time honoree. Hurtado received the award for the third time in her career and it was the second occurrence for Heno, Hoyt, Reale, and Urban.
 
To be eligible for the CACC All-Academic team, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants)
- Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution
- Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution
- Student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
