PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team (1-2-1, 1-1-0 CACC) made two early goals stand as the Rams defeated visiting Wilmington (Del.), 3-0, in a CACC match on Wednesday.

GAMEPLAY
It did not take long for Jefferson to get on the board as the Rams scored on their first two shots of the day. In the fourth minute,
Ava Albergo sent a cross into the box from the left side and
Devin Sullivan got her head on it and directed the ball into the goal to make it 1-0. Just one minute later,
Emma Kuciapinski led
Laural Erick with a pass into the box and Erick finished into the left corner to make it a two-goal advantage.

The Wilmington defense settled in after allowing the two goals, conceding just two shots for the rest of the first half. Offensively, the Wildcats recorded six shots but could not find the back of the net. In the second, Jefferson held Wilmington to four shots, just one on goal, and added an insurance tally in the 65
th minute.
Kiery Spatz set up Kuciapinski, who beat the goalkeeper with a shot from the top of the box into the right corner.
