LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Devin Sullivan scored the game-winner with 3:14 remaining in the first overtime period to give the Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team (3-2-1, 3-1-0 CACC) a 1-0 victory at Georgian Court on Tuesday for the Rams' third consecutive win.

GAMEPLAY
Both teams had opportunities in the opening 10 minutes, recording two shots apiece and the Lions adding a pair of corner kicks. Georgian Court then locked down defensively, allowing just one Jefferson shot for the remainder of the half. The Lions' offense peppered the Rams with five more shots but could not beat goalkeeper
Liv Riddel.
Â
Jefferson turned it on in the second period, outshooting GCU 10-2. The Rams narrowly missed on one chance by hitting the crossbar and three more shots were stopped by the keeper. Despite the effort, Jefferson could not break through, forcing overtime.
Â
The Lions managed the first shot of the extra session but pushed it right. Then, the Rams needed just one shot to net the game-winner. Sullivan took a feed from
Anna Midock at the top of the box, dribbled, and beat the goalie to the left side for the victory. It was Sullivan's second goal of the season.
