PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team (1-3) picked up its first victory of the season with a 21-0 shutout of Chestnut Hill in non-conference action on Friday.
GAMEPLAY
The Rams dominated the contest from the start, netting nine goals in the opening 15 minutes. They scored four in the second quarter, five in the third, and three in the fourth. Jefferson allowed just four shots by the Griffins. The Rams were a perfect 6-for-6 on clear attempts and had a 21-6 advantage in ground balls.
