BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team (16-4) fell at Saint Thomas Aquinas (14-3), 6-1, on Thursday in a matchup of two of the top teams in the East Region.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans came out strong, sweeping the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.
Nicole Hrbkova earned a 6-2, 6-4 victory at second singles to bring the Rams even at one. However, STAC claimed the remaining singles bouts to win the match.
