#12/18 Women's Basketball Escapes Close Matchup with a Win Over Dominican
PHILADELPHIA – The #12/18 Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball (3-0) were looking to see their fourth quarter lead fade away as the Chargers made it 64-63 with 4:33 left in the game, but a 13-4 run to end the match help the Rams take a non-conference victory against Dominican University of New York (2-1) in Wednesday night action.

Kuczynski nailed two three pointers for Jefferson, helping her score 14 of her career-high 26 points on the night in the second quarter. A steal turned fastbreak helped her as well, with that being one of her career-high six on the night

Nigro converted her jumper and-one play to make it a four point game. Dominican would get within two points but Recinto, Burkhart, and Murphy all scored the final 10 points to end the match with a 77-67 victory
