Women's Basketball Defeats Georgian Court for Fourth Straight Win
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Giving a stellar performance in the first and third quarter with 20+ points scored, the Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team (13-6, 7-2) earn their fourth straight victory as the Rams went on the road to beat Georgian Court University (3-18, 3-6) 75-60 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South action.
WHAT HAPPENED

Jefferson opened the first with a 22-point attack, led by Emma Kuczynski with eight points during the opening 10 minutes. She delivered on two three pointers and a layup. Gabby Recinto put up six points on the quarter, leading to both her and Kuczynski with a team-leading 18 on the day

Kuczynski put up six points early in the second with Spratt added a basket as well. Murphy hit two free throws and a layup. She also accumulated four of her 11 rebounds in the second, the same amount as the first quarter, to earn a double double as well

Recinto took over the third quarter with nine points, going 4-4 on the floor which included a three pointer and an and-one attempt. Murphy followed behind with six points, helping her to earn 16 on the day
