PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team (18-6, 12-2 CACC) secured another impressive win, defeating Chestnut Hill (10-14, 7-7 CACC) by a score of 62-49 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) showdown on Saturday at Chestnut Hill.

WHAT HAPPENED

  • Jefferson controlled the first half, taking a 27-21 lead into the break.
  • The Rams extended their advantage in the second half, outscoring Chestnut Hill 35-28.
  • A strong defensive effort and dominant rebounding sealed the win.
  • Cassie Murphy led all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds, securing her 12th double double this season. Recinto followed behind with her own double double.
