NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced the second Academic Honor Roll for the Fall semester, giving recognition to every student-athletes academic success during the academic semester. A new standard of academic excellence comes through the athletic department as 207 Rams were named to the Academic Honor Roll this year, with 39 taking the highest level of designation in FAR with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Thomas Jefferson University has had their numbers continue to go up each semester, with the Rams reaching 200+ athletes on this achievement for the first time since the awards have been recognized. Those who earned a 3.50-3.99 GPA were named to the Presidents' Level, with students getting a 3.0-3.49 GPA earned their name on the Commissioner's Level.
 
The initiative was constructed by members of the CACC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FAR) group, and approved by the league's Presidents' Council. FARs are a vital component of each institution's athletic department as the faculty member serves as a liaison between athletic administrators/coaches/student-athletes and academic administrators/faculty.
