Women's Stay in First Place in Restaino Cup Standings for Winter Sports, Men Rank Eighth
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University women's teams maintained their first-place spot for 2023-24 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Alfred R. Restaino Sr., Cup after the winter season, while the men are ranked eighth in the standings as announced by the conference this morning.
Women's basketball took six points for the lead in the regular season and seven as they were the runners-up in the CACC Championships, giving the Rams 58 out of a possible 69 points (0.8406). Men's basketball took 5.5 points as they tied for first in the regular season and making the CACC Semifinals, earning 28 out of 52 points (0.5385).
The final standings will be calculated once the spring seasons conclude and the total points are finalized.
