Men's Tennis Gets the Win On Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (9-6) got the victory over Salem University (1-8) on Senior Day. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• The Rams won the doubles point, earning all three victories in those spots. Matt Cizmarik and Filip Slavkovic won the first doubles spot, Nicholas Trebuchet and Johary Rabetrano took the second position, and Anotino Mateos Melenchon and Jules Thibault secured the third position victory 

• Jefferson won all six singles matches with Trebuchet, Rabetrano, Thibault, Mateos Melenchon, Cizmarik, and Ayan Mehra all earning wins in their respective spots. 

SENIOR DAY 
After the match, the Rams honored Thibault, Mehra, Mateos Melenchon, Elliot Jarosz, and Rabetrano as Jefferson honored their seniors on Senior Day. 

UP NEXT 
Jefferson will take on Edinboro University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competition on Friday against Edinboro University, followed by going up against nationally-ranked West Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday.
