Three Men's Tennis Players Make All-Academic Team
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis had three student athletes make the teams first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) All-Academic Team, announced by the conference office this afternoon.
Antonio Mateos, Melenchon,
Jules Thibault, and
Johary Rabetrano make the All-Academic Team after competing in the conference for the first time this season. Thibault garners his second All-Academic honors from a conference, with his first being from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Melenchon and Rabetrano secure their first All-Academic honors.
The PSAC has adopted standards to make the All-Academic Team. The requirements are as follows:
Undergraduate and Graduate Student-Athletes must have completed four semesters academically
at the nominating campus with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). For the purposes of PSAC Academic All-Conference,
completed semesters and GPAs are calculated at the beginning of each season using the previous completed semester (Fall 2025).
Student-athletes must have met a minimum of participation requirements. For team sport selections, this includes playing in 70% of a team's contests (through the conference championship date.) For individual sports, there are unique participation requirements that are detailed
in this document.
