    DINWIDDIE, Va. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) baseball season will commence with four games this weekend in Dinwiddie, Va. Friday’s (Feb. 23) game will be played against East Stroudsburg University at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 will present a doubleheader against St. Thomas Aquinas at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The last game on Sunday, Feb. 25 is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. against St. Rose.

The 2018 poll was decided upon by the 12 coaching staffs in the conference. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.

    CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Recent graduate Steven Wells of the Rams’ baseball team was an honored guest at the 114th Philadelphia Sports Writers Association banquet at the Crowne Plaza Cherry Hill in New Jersey on Monday, Jan. 15. Wells sat at the head table with notable athletes such as the Philadelphia Phillies’ Rhys Hoskins and the Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry.

    CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Senior Brandon Quaranta (Poughkeepsie, N.Y. / Arlington) of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) baseball team was named a 2017 Perfect Game/Rawlings Summer Collegiate All-American on Thursday. Quaranta was selected to the All-America Second Team.
