UPDATED: Baseball Travels to North Carolina for Four Games on Saturday, Sunday

THOMASVILLE, N.C. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) baseball team is set for a four-game weekend from Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4 down in Thomasville, N.C. in the squad's second weekend of competition.

LAST WEEKEND
Jefferson went 1-3 last weekend at the Dinwiddie Challenge in Virginia. The men opened the season with a loss to East Stroudsburg, 10-6, before dropping a doubleheader to No. 7 St. Thomas Aquinas, 8-3 and 3-2. The squad then picked up a win over Saint Rose on Sunday, 7-2.

CACC WEEKLY HONORS
-Brandon Quaranta was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll as he went 4-for-12 at the plate with three extra-base hits while throwing 4.0 scoreless innings in relief.

NEXT UP
Following the four-game weekend, Jefferson Baseball returns to action for its home opener on Tuesday, March 6 against Le Moyne. The scheduled doubleheader will begin at noon from Alumni Field on campus.
