Baseball Opens Season With a Pair of Setbacks at East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) baseball team (0-2) dropped a pair of games at East Stroudsburg (4-0) to open the 2019 season on Friday.

The Warriors took game one, 9-0 and had a 14-4 victory in the nightcap.

ESU jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a three-run double and a sacrifice fly. The Warriors added three more runs in the second on a three-run blast to left field.
