Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's basketball team and Head Coach Herb Magee have already garnered attention for the 2010-11 season, and practices haven't even begun.  The Rams were named a preseason "possible breakthrough" in The Sporting News' annual preseason release.

The Rams were listed along with two other Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) institutions- Bloomfield and Felician, on the list.

Magee's squad will return to the hardwood after making a run to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 last spring.  The Rams finished 27-8 overall (16-1 CACC) as Coach Magee's team won more games than any other PhilaU men's squad in the past 16 years.

The team starts off the new season with three exhibition games vs. NCAA Division I opponents, beginning with at trip to Boston College (11/6).
