Rams Fall to Concordia in OT, 92-86

Bronxville, NY- In a neck-in-neck match, the Philadelphia University men's basketball team (10-8, 5-4 CACC) could not fend off Concordia College (7-12, 6-5) in OT. Sophomore guard Jim Connolly scored a season high 37 points for PhilaU.

The Rams had four players in double digits. Junior center Temi Adebayo and freshman guard Nick Christian each hit 13 points while senior forward Ishmawiyl McFadden scored 10.  Adebayo added five blocks.

The Rams found themselves down in the first half, trailing 32-29.

In the second half the Rams fought back, outscoring the Clippers 45-42 to tie the game at 74-74 at the end of regulation.

In the end, three shots from three-point range delivered by CC along with six field goals would give them the edge to outscore the Rams in overtime, 18-12.

The Rams return to Henry Avenue with CACC action Tuesday (2/1) against Holy Family University at 8:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
