Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's basketball (14-10, 9-6 CACC) were downed 69-44 in their lowest scoring output of the season to the Post University Eagles (14-10, 12-4 CACC) on Saturday night at the Gallagher Athletic Center.
A pre-game ceremony by Coach Herb Magee honored three seniors: Ishmawiyl McFadden, Ola Sasona and Chris Kuntz. In recent news, Coach Magee was announced as a finalist for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
In tonight's contest, the Rams were undone on the boards (45-24 deficit) as well as three-pointers (Post hit nine to PhilaU's two).
The high scorer for the game was PU's Cecil Stinson with 17 points (4-8 from beyond the arc). The Rams never led, as Post pulled out to as many as 27 points (64-37 at 6:53 in the second half).
Next up will be two road contests to finish out the regular season, Wednesday (2/23) at Goldey-Beacom and Friday (2/25) at Nyack.
