Nyack, NY- The Philadelphia University Rams (15-11, 10-7 CACC) rolled to an 89-56 win against the Nyack College Warriors (2-24, 0-18 CACC) on Friday evening.  The win secures the CACC 'South' division #2 playoff seed, and hence the Rams will host Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday night (3/1) at the Gallagher Athletic Center.

The Rams were led by freshman guard Nick Christian's 21 points and three rebounds, but it was a complete team effort that led the visitors to victory.

A 7-7 tie at the 16:44 mark would be as close at the Warriors would get, as PhilaU climbed to a 50-20 halftime advantage.  In that first stanza PhilaU junior center Temi Adebayo dumped in 11 of his 14 points on the night.  He added eight blocks and seven boards when the dust cleared on the evening.

In the second half things were all maroon and gray, as the other three PhilaU starters scored in double digits.  Sophomore guard Jim Connolly tallied 19 points, junior guard/forward Corey Francisco added 17 points and five rebounds and senior big man Ola Sasona chipped in 15 points and a career-high 15 boards to boot.

PhilaU ran their lead to 40 points at 89-49 with just 3:44 remaining in regulation to close out the contest and make it 89-56 when the horn sounded.
