Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University Men’s Basketball Head Coach Herb Magee has announced his incoming recruiting class for the 2010-11 season.  Magee’s newest players include St. Joseph’s University junior transfer Temi Adebayo along with freshmen Tyree Harris and Nick Christian.

“These three student-athletes have a great future ahead of them at PhilaU,” said Magee.

Adebayo, a 7’0 center from Ibadan, Nigeria (Montrose Christian H.S.), played in 15 games in his two years at Saint Joseph's, averaging 2.0 minutes per game.

Harris, a 6’8 forward from Malvern, PA, played at the Phelps School and is expected to provide depth in the frontcourt along with Adebayo.

Christian- a 6’1 combo guard from Bensalem, PA will give Magee’s Rams support in the backcourt to fill the void left with the graduation of PhilaU senior guards Russell Frederick and Marcus Lemon- who averaged a combined 27 points a game.

PhilaU plans to build on a 27-win season in 2009-10, which saw the squad advance all the way to the NCAA Sweet 16 and legendary Coach Magee surpass Bobby Knight as the all-time winningest NCAA coach (in NCAA victories), regardless of division.
