NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Philadelphia University sophomore guard Kaison Randolph (Trenton, N.J./Pennington Prep) was selected as a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) co-player of the week by the conference office on Monday.
Randolph—who shared this week's award with Bloomfield's Claude Blue—averaged 24.0 points, on 53.6 percent shooting, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in a 2-0 week. He opened the week with a game-high 26 points, shooting 8-of-17 overall, six rebounds, and two assists in a 66-61 win at Caldwell on Jan. 11. Two days later in the team's 89-82 victory over Kutztown, Randolph contributed 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting, six rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
This season, Randolph is recording 17.1 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 34 assists, 17 steals, and four blocked shots. He is ranked second in the CACC in made 3-pointers (53), sixth in scoring, and 13th in 3-point shooting (37.3 percent).
Philadelphia (14-4, 7-2 CACC) heads to Goldey-Beacom for a CACC showdown on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m.
