RINDGE, N.H. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's basketball team will travel up to Rindge, N.H. to take on the Franklin Pierce Ravens in a nonconference matchup on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m.
Jefferson recently closed the month of December with a perfect 6-0 record. On the season as a whole, the Rams are 10-5 and 5-0 in conference play.
LAST TIME OUT
Jefferson recently defeated Goldey-Beacom on Dec. 30 to close out 2017. Senior Kaison Randolph finished with 20 points and eight rebounds while sophomore Josh Bradanese recorded 19 points with seven boards. Senior Yevgen Sakhniuk recorded a double-double behind 14 points and a season and game-high 18 rebounds. Freshman Alexander Gorton also scored 14 points as the fourth Ram in double figures. Sophomore Kylan Guerra dished out a career and game-high nine assists while grabbing seven rebounds and hitting two shots and a free throw for five points. As a team, the Rams shot 24-of-51 for 47.1-percent in the 72-61 victory including 7-of-21 from three-point range. Jefferson outrebounded Goldey-Beacom 48-34 which turned into 17 second-chance points for the Rams.
JOSH BRADANESE – CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK ON JAN. 2
The Billerica, Massachusetts native helped the Rams earn wins on Dec. 19 over Wilmington, 84-81, and on Dec. 30 against Goldey-Beacom, 72-61, to close out a 6-0 December. Coming off the bench, Bradanese tied a career high with 27 points against Wilmington as he went 9-of-18 from the floor including 7-of-11 from three-point range. He followed it up with 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting and seven rebounds in the final game of the calendar year against Goldey-Beacom.

LOOKING AT FRANKLIN PIERCE
The Ravens of the Northeast-10 Conference are 6-5 on the year and 2-5 in league play. Franklin Pierce has won its last three contests over Assumption, Bloomfield and Wilmington. Last year, the Ravens went 16-12. The squad defeated Le Moyne in the first round of the NE-10 Championship before falling to Bentley in the quarterfinals.
