PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's basketball team are set to host two midweek home contests before Thanksgiving. The Rams play Millersville on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. before a quick turnaround with Queens (N.Y.) on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Both games will be played at the Gallagher Center in East Falls-Philadelphia.
HOW TO WATCH
Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors/children/outside students with ID. Children under the age of six are free. Jefferson students, staff and faculty with school ID are also free.
A free, live video stream will be available for each affair with play-by-play and color analysis.
LAST TIME OUT
Jefferson battled No. 4 Saint Anselm (3-0) before falling 79-75 in overtime on Saturday afternoon from the Gallagher Center in the Rams' home opener. Junior Kylan Guerra led the Rams with 24 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. Junior Prince Hickson scored 20 on the day behind 7-of-9 shooting and 6-of-8 from the line. He also grabbed four rebounds, one assist and one block. Jefferson shot 50.8% (30-of-59) from the floor, 4-of-18 (22.2%) from three-point range and 11-of-15 (73.3%) from the line.
LOOKING AT MILLERSVILLE
Millersville is 3-1 on the campaign. The Marauders picked up wins over Wheeling Jesuit, Georgian Court and Lincoln with a season-opening loss to Shepherd. Jefferson and Millersville last met in the 2009-10 season as the Rams won 69-52. Jefferson is 8-1 against the Marauders all time.
LOOKING AT QUEENS (N.Y.)
Queens is still looking for its first win of the year after starting 0-4. The Knights have losses to Adelphia, Chestnut Hill, Fairleigh Dickinson and Pace, all on the road or at neutral sites. The first nine games of 2018-19 come on the road for the Knights.
Following the two midweek matchups, the Jefferson Men's Basketball team travels to Bentley for a Sunday, Nov. 25 game at noon in Waltham, Mass.
