PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's basketball team (9-6, 4-2 CACC) hosts CACC North Division opponent Post (4-11, 1-5 CACC) at the Gallagher Center on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. The Rams look to increase their season-long win streak to five games.
HOW TO WATCH
Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors/children/outside students with ID. Children under the age of six are free. Jefferson students, staff and faculty with school ID are also free.

This is the 21st meeting between Jefferson and Post. The Rams have an 18-2 advantage in the series and they are 10-1 at home. Jefferson has won 12 straight meetings, including seven in a row at the Gallagher Center.
LAST TIME OUT
The men ended the first half with a 17-3 run and cruised the rest of the way to an 85-68 road triumph over the Chestnut Hill Griffins (3-11, 0-5 CACC) on Tuesday night. It was the fourth consecutive win for the Rams.
Jefferson had the hot hand in the first half, shooting a scalding 61.8% (21-of-34) from the floor. The Rams also dominated the glass by a 22-10 margin. Jefferson was able to gain the lead from the jump with some early buckets and never trailed. However, Chestnut Hill was able to stay within striking distance, trailing by no more than 12 through the first 14 minutes of action. With the score 35-28 and 5:29 on the clock, the Rams busted the game open with 17 of the last 20 points in the frame to lead 52-31 at the break. Jefferson was 6-of-10 during the surge and six different players contributed to the run.
The Griffins were able to close the gap to 11 (54-43) with 15:06 left in the second half. However, Jefferson recovered and did not allow Chestnut Hill to get any closer for the rest of the contest, even building its advantage back up to 21 (77-56) at the 3:29 mark.
Junior DeVaughn Mallory continued his stellar play of late, posting his third straight double-double with career highs of 26 points and 18 rebounds. He shot 12-for-17 and added two steals, one assist and one block. Junior Josh Bradanese poured in 20 points, tying his season high. He also totaled four boards, three assists and one steal. Juniors Kylan Guerra and Prince Hickson tallied 15 and 11 points respectively. Hickson grabbed seven rebounds while Guerra dished five assists.
LOOKING AT POST
The Eagles have played better as of late, going 2-2 in their last four games after starting 2-9. Post is ranked sixth in Division II with 154 steals, 11th with 18.8 turnovers forced per game and 12th with 14.9 offensive rebounds per game. The Eagles are one of the top scoring teams in the conference, averaging 78.9 points per contest, which is third in the CACC. Junior Tyshon Rogers leads the squad with 18.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. His 44 steals are third in the nation. Senior Darryl Stewart and junior D.J. Jarrett are contributing with 12.6 and 12.3 ppg respectively.
The Rams stay at home and host division rival Georgian Court on Wednesday, January 16 at 8 p.m. Jefferson took both meetings last year, including an 84-82 overtime victory at home.
