Fred Perrin enters his third season as head men's and women's tennis coach in 2025-26.
Perrin joined the Rams as Associate Head Coach for the 2022-23 campaign. He helped lead both Jefferson squads to the NCAA Tournament with the men reaching the Round of 16 for the first time. The men claimed their second straight CACC title while the women advanced to the final for the second year in a row. Both squads set their respective school records for wins in a season.
Perrin guided both teams to CACC Championship appearances in the 2023-24 season, with both squads making the finals for a third consecutive season. The men's tennis team won their third straight title and enter the first CACC/ECC matchup. The Rams won the NCAA East Region match and made it to the Round of 16 for the second straight year. Perrin earned CACC Coach of the Year honors for men's while coaching CACC Player of the Year Hannibal Borg and CACC Co-Rookie of the Year Johary Rabetrano. He also coached six CACC All-Conference players (Men: Borg, Jules Thibault, Enrique Soto Ballester; Women: Nicole Hrbkova, Noelle Frenzel, Charly Egger).
During the 2024-25 year, the women's team made the CACC Tournament once again while the men earned the best-of-three series against Chestnut Hill to take the CACC title. The men's team made the NCAA East Regional for the fourth straight year while the women had a CACC Rookie of the Year by way of Alycia Veroux. She earned All-CACC First Team honors while Nicole Hrbkova and Anna Morgillo took Second Team recognition.
Perrin once again guided both squads to conference championship finals appearances. The women's team went 19-8 on the season, with a perfect 10-0 CACC record that brough them back to the CACC Championship Finals for the fourth time in five seasons. Alycia Veroux was named CACC Co-Player of the Year while Anouk Oderkerk earned CACC Rookie of the Year honors, with both players making the All-CACC First Team squad as well. Jefferson went to make and host a NCAA East Regional matchup against Adelphi, the first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022-23. The men's team competed in the PSAC for the first time this year, going a perfect 6-0 and winning the PSAC title. The Rams made the NCAA Tournament, winning two of their matches to reach the Round of 16 for the third time in four seasons. Jules Thibault, Filip Slavkovic, Johary Rabetrano, Nicholas Trebuchet, and Matt Cizmarik were all named to the PSAC All-Conference Teams. Perrin won both the CACC Women's Coach of the Year and PSAC Men's Coach of the Year as well as being named the ITA Atlantic Regin Dunlop Men's Coach of the Year. Thibault earned CSC Academic All-America Third Team honors.
Prior to arriving at Jefferson, Perrin was the Director of Tennis at the Philadelphia Sports Club at Highpoint in Chalfont. He supervised all teaching pros and staff, handled the needs of the membership, managed the club's website and communications, directed and managed the maintenance crew, and created new programs for the club.
Perrin played professionally on the ATP Tour and reached world rankings of 296th in doubles and 655th in singles. He attended South Florida, where he won the Florida Intercollegiate Singles title and was a Sun Belt Conference champion in doubles. Perrin won the USTA National Men's Amateurs Doubles Championship and had peak USTA National Men's Amateurs rankings of #1 in doubles and #4 in singles. He was also ranked as high as 35th in singles by the NCAA.
Prior to attending South Florida, Perrin played in the Junior US Open and was a finalist in the USTA Interscholastic Singles and Doubles Championship. He was ranked number one on the MSTA Boys 18s Singles list and 26th by the USTA. Perrin won three state medals for singles while competing for Neshaminy High School and was inducted into the Neshaminy High School Hall of Fame. He was named the 1980 Courier Times Player of the Year.
