Rams come in third place in tri-match with Goldey-Beacom and Holy Family

LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Philadelphia University men's golf team was the third-place finisher in its tri-match against Goldey-Beacom and Holy Family at the ACE Club Tuesday afternoon.


The Rams posted a team score of 342. Goldey-Beacom was the winner of the match with a score of 315, and Holy Family was second with 319.


Ryan O'Donnell paced Philadelphia with a round of 81 on the par-72 course to come in sixth overall. Brad Krohl shot an 83 and recorded a 10th-place finish, while Seppi Hutter's 86 placed him in 12th.


Brendan Murray was 13th after a round of 92. In his first action of the spring, Ed DiRugeris turned in a 94.


Holy Family's Dan Costello was the event winner after firing off a round of 73. Pat McRae had the best score for the Lighting with a 76 to come in second.


Philadelphia's next event is the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship on Tuesday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 11 at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
