Men’s Golf Will Host Neumann and Chestnut Hill on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's golf team will host Neumann University and Chestnut Hill College Sunday, Oct. 22 in Lafayette, Pa. at the ACE Club.

The Jefferson men's golf team competed in a two-day event called the Devil's Classic, hosted by USciences, at Bluestone Country Club in Blue Bell, Pa. The course played par 71 at 6565 yards. Five colleges were in competition: Assumption (607), Chestnut Hill (624), Dominican (637), USciences (662) and Jefferson (685). 

On Oct. 15 the Knights had completed the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic and placed fourth of six teams. Junior Joe Mitchell led Neumann with a total of 161 on the 72-par, 6730 yard course. The team finished with a total of 667 strokes. 

Also at the Devil's Classic, the Griffins finished the 71-par, 6565 yard course with a total score of 624 strokes. Freshman Jake Kehoe, won the classic, finishing five strokes above par (147 total).
