Brookville, NY- The Philadelphia University men's soccer team (2-4, 1-2 CACC) suffered a non-conference loss in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the C.W. Post Pioneers (7-0) on Tuesday afternoon.

PhilaU's lone goal was a result of a foul in the box in the 52nd minute which awarded the Rams a PK and senior Ryan Purnell's shot into the lower left corner was just out of the reach the CWP keeper. Purnell has had a goal in every game PhilaU has scored in this season.
CWP tied it just four minutes later and scored the eventual game-winner three minutes after that to go up 2-1.  At 61:54, the Pioneers struck again and they would add one more to hand the Rams a 4-1 loss.
PhilaU sophomore goalie Alex Heston had six saves, while CWP's Marco Jorgensen got a hand on four balls for the Pioneers.

The Rams return to action on Sunday (9/25) at Dominican College at 2:30 p.m.
