PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's soccer team will travel to Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Tuesday, Sept. 12 to play against the Mercy College Mavericks at 3 p.m. before a CACC matchup with Caldwell on Friday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The men's team is coming off a victory, defeating the Post University Eagles for the team's first conference win of the season. The final score of the match was 2-1 with goals scored by junior Jason Rocha (58:55) and senior, Valdo Jean-Baptiste (76:12) for the Rams. With this win the Rams even their overall record to 1-1.
LOOKING AT MERCY
The Maverick's record sits at 2-2 after just recently losing to Stonehill College 2-1. Prior to the loss, the Mavericks had beaten Assumption College (1-0) and Chestnut Hill College, who is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), 4-0.
LOOKING AT CALDWELL
The Caldwell Cougars have a record of 1-2-1. Their last game was in-conference against Chestnut Hill College in which the Cougars lost 5-1. Caldwell will face the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, N.Y. before seeing the Jefferson Rams on Friday.
Following this week's matches, the men will return home for a conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 2:30 p.m. against Georgian Court University at Ravenhill Field.
