PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's soccer team (4-2-1, 3-0-1 CACC) pulled out a 3-0 shutout victory against the Felician Golden Falcons (0-8-1, 0-5-0 CACC) after scoring three goals in the final 25 minutes of play from Ravenhill Field on Saturday afternoon.

The scoring started late in the conference tilt. While Jefferson managed a slight 6-4 edge on shots in the opening 45 minutes, the Rams peppered 14 shots in the second half.

Senior Jason Rocha scored the first goal of the contest in the 68th minute after a touch from junior Rashaan Robe and deflection off the chest of junior Hunter Dyson set up Rocha with a close-range shot, 1-0. It came as Rocha's team-leading seventh goal of the season.

In the 78th minute, sophomore Val Mokrejs scored his first of the year as he put the Rams up 2-0 on a shot from about 15 yards away as he tucked it inside the left post.

In the 85th minute, Rocha scored his second of the game after junior transfer Charlie Livesey played a ball through the box to the senior captain who put away the shot and the game, 3-0. The goal came as Rocha's eighth of the campaign, a figure which leads the conference. Livesey also leads the team with four assists, one coming in each of the last four contests.

Jefferson led shots, 20-9, and corner opportunities, 5-2, in the win.

Junior transfer goalkeeper Kris Donaldson (W, 1-0-0) made his first appearance for the Rams in goal as he played all 90 minutes and faced eight shots with one save for the shutout. In total, the Rams have three shutouts on the year.
