Men's Soccer Sets Season High for Shots but Falls at Molloy

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – The Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (6-8-1) dropped a non-conference game at Molloy (9-5-1), 1-0 on Wednesday night.

GAMEPLAY
The Rams had an 11-4 shots advantage in the first half but the Lions' goalkeeper made seven saves to keep Jefferson off of the scoreboard. Molloy recorded the lone goal of the contest in the 19th minute off of a corner kick.

In the second, the Rams continued to pressure the Lions, totaling 10 shots. However, only two made it on target and they were turned away by the goalkeeper.

NOTES
- Jefferson ended the game with 21 shots, its highest total of the season.
- The defeat was just the second loss in October for the Rams. They posted a 6-2 record in the month.
