Men’s Tennis Drops Opener to St. Thomas Aquinas in Close Dual, 5-4

PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's tennis team (0-1) dropped a close match to St. Thomas Aquinas (3-1) in the squad's 2017-18 home opener on Thursday afternoon, 5-4.

Luis Molina Megias and Liviu Trifoi were the first of the doubles teams to finish. They defeated their opponents by a score of 8-5. Oskar Haedicke and Joao Pedro Molina Marcal finished next, resulting in a win, with a final set score of 8-6.

Sixth singles Joseph Sison was the first single match done, defeating his opponent in two sets, with a score of 6-1, 6-1. Fourth singles Joao Pedro Molina Marcal won in two sets, winning over his opponent 6-0, 6-0.
