Men's Cross Country Comes in 10th at NCAA East Region Championships

PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country team placed 10th at the NCAA East Region Championships on Saturday at Belmont Plateau. The Rams hosted the meet for the first time since 1986.

Jefferson totaled 347 points on the 10K course. Roberts Wesleyan captured the regional title with 55 points. The Redhawks advance to the NCAA Division II Championships along with second-place American International (65 points) and third-place Stonehill (82 points). The national championships are on Saturday, November 23 in Sacramento, Calif.

Ezra Mutai of American International was the individual winner with a time of 30:58.4.
