Kennedie Ruth joined the Jefferson softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in August 2026 following a standout collegiate career at the College of Staten Island.

A native of Langhorne, Pa., Ruth excelled in the circle during her time at Staten Island, earning recognition as one of the top pitchers in the East Coast Conference. She was named the ECC Preseason Co-Pitcher of the Year and earned ECC Pitcher of the Week honors during her collegiate career. Ruth also ranked among the conference's top five in ERA and held opposing hitters to a .260 batting average.

Prior to her collegiate career, Ruth starred at Neshaminy High School, where she earned Courier Times Gold Team honors, was selected to both the first and second All-Suburban One League teams during her career and received PAII All-State Second Team recognition.

In addition to her role at Jefferson, Ruth remains active in the local softball community as a coach and pitching instructor with Rock Gold, a showcase travel program. She also works with local youth softball teams, providing instruction and helping develop the next generation of players.
