PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's basketball team opens up its 2018-19 campaign in Rockville Centre, N.Y. on Saturday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 11. The Rams play Molloy on Saturday at noon from the Lions' Quealy Gymnasium before taking on Queens (N.Y.) on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Rams went 26-6 in 2017-18, finishing runner-up in the conference championship before earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Rams bring back a wealth of talent including four starters.
COUNTING DOWN FOR COACH SHIRLEY
Head Coach Tom Shirley is one win shy for 600 at the school as he enters his 30th year with the Rams and two short of 750 over his entire 39-year coaching career which includes an additional eight years at DeSales before making the move to East Falls in 1989-90.
TOP SPOT IN THE CACC
The Rams finished tied for first in the 2018-19 CACC South Division Preseason Coach Poll released on Oct. 31.
MOLLOY – SATURDAY – NOON
Molloy went 9-19 a season ago. Jefferson and Molloy met as the Rams' hosted the East Region Conference Challenge on the opening weekend as they took down the Lions 71-47.
QUEENS (N.Y.) – SUNDAY – 2 PM
Jefferson earned a 60-54 win in the 2017-18 season opener over Queens at the East Region Conference Challenge. Queen went on to go 13-14 on the year including 9-9 in the ECC before earning a conference postseason spot.
