PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's lacrosse team has finalized its 2019 regular-season schedule.
The Rams are slated for 16 games, split evenly with eight at home and eight on the road.
The women's lacrosse team opens the campaign with two contests at Ravenhill Field, March 2 versus Kutztown and March 6 against Shippensburg. Jefferson will play four of its first five games at home. CACC play begins on March 26 when the Rams host Wilmington (Del.). The lacrosse team will compete in front of the home crowd just three times in April but end the regular season at Ravenhill versus Dominican (N.Y.) on April 27.
The top six teams in the conference standings qualify for the CACC Tournament with the top two seeds earning a first-round bye. First-round games are scheduled for April 30 at campus sites. The semifinals and final will be contested at Georgian Court University on May 3-4.
Last season, Jefferson finished with a 9-8 record with an 8-1 mark in the CACC. The Rams were the second seed in the conference tournament and were upset by Chestnut Hill, 13-11 in the semifinals.
Dates, times and opponents are subject to change. Any updates will be posted on the women's lacrosse schedule page.
