NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Camryn Sullivan and freshman Kelsey Kaplowitz of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's lacrosse team were chosen the CACC Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week respectively on Monday. In addition, junior Erin Eckert was named to the weekly honor roll. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.
CAMRYN SULLIVAN – CACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sullivan led the squad with three caused turnovers and added two ground balls, one draw control, three goals and one assist in the Rams' 18-3 win at Queens (N.Y.). The sophomore has recorded a caused turnover in three of four games this season. Sullivan has totaled six caused turnovers, six ground balls, two draw controls, four goals and one assist.
KELSEY KAPLOWITZ – CACC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Kaplowitz played the first half and earned the win at Queens. She did not allow a goal and turned away two shots. The rookie has stopped 18 shots this season with a high of seven at Bloomsburg on March 8.
