WEST WINDSOR TWP., N.J. – The Philadelphia University women's crew team competed in day two of the Knecht Cup on Mercer Lake Sunday.
Philadelphia qualified for the pair of grand finals on Saturday—the Second Varsity Four and the Club Eight DI/DII.
In the Second Varsity Four final, Philadelphia—occupying the first lane—turned in a sixth-place time of 8:02.71. Tulsa was the event winner, posting a time of 7:41.89.
Philadelphia had the fourth lane in the Club Eight DI/DII event and had the fourth place time of 7:10.19. The win went to Barry in a time of 6:54.23.
The Rams' novice four team had a time of 8:44.55 to finish fifth in the third heat and went to the Third Level Final. In the third level final, Philadelphia came in sixth after completing the course in 8:55.11. Central Florida won the race.
In the Club Four DI/DII event, the Rams took fifth in heat one with a time of 8:24.34.
Philadelphia returns to the water to compete in the Kerr Cup on April 18 on the Schuylkill River.
